Frequently asked questions
FAQ
Can you intervene during school holidays?
Yes, that's the slot we recommend for schools. Holidays allow more thorough treatment (access to every area, re-entry delays observed without constraint) and avoid any exposure of pupils. We schedule interventions as soon as we receive the school calendar.
What products do you use around children or patients?
We systematically exclude products classified as CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic, reprotoxic) for facilities hosting children or vulnerable people. We favour bait gels in cracks (no direct exposure), mechanical traps and, for flying insects, insecticide-free UV traps.
Can you be listed for a public procurement tender?
Yes. Antinox is a Belgian SRL registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises, able to provide the company documents required by a public procurement procedure. Contact us for a quote compliant with tender requirements.
How do you handle pigeon droppings on playgrounds?
Pigeon droppings pose a real health risk (histoplasmosis, cryptococcosis) to children. Treatment includes: cleaning and disinfecting existing droppings (mandatory PPE), installing stainless steel spikes or nets on perching areas, and, if needed, temporary scaring during installation. An on-site quote is required to assess the surface area.
