Frequently asked questions

Insect control

I found one cockroach — does that necessarily mean an infestation?

A cockroach visible in broad daylight generally signals an already advanced infestation: the colony is saturated and pushing individuals towards the light. It's best to act immediately — cockroaches reproduce extremely fast.

How do I know if I have bed bugs?

The telltale signs: bites in a line on the skin upon waking, small blood stains on the sheets, black droppings on the mattress or headboard. A professional inspection is recommended before any treatment.

Do we have to leave the home during treatment?

It depends on the treatment and the species. For cockroaches, an absence of 2 to 4 hours is enough. For bed bugs, we tell you precisely when you can return.

Do you handle wasp nest emergencies?

Yes. Active nests can be dangerous, especially for people with allergies. We intervene within 24h, and generally the same day in peak season (June–September).

Why are cockroaches so hard to eliminate on your own?

The German cockroach (Blattella germanica), the dominant species in Belgium, develops resistance to common insecticides. 1 female produces 4 to 8 egg cases of 30 to 40 eggs each. A 2-visit protocol spaced 14 to 21 days apart is mandatory to eliminate adults and juveniles hatching from eggs that survived the first visit.

Can bed bugs come back after treatment?

Without a complete protocol, yes. A female bed bug lays 200 to 500 eggs over her lifetime and survives 6 to 18 months without a blood meal. The eggs resist standard insecticides — that's why we combine chemical treatment with thermal inspection, with a mandatory follow-up on day 21.
